ABOUT ME

A Girl From a Small Town in the Mountains turned Girl Thriving Near the California Coast.

I was that child who colored all over the tables and stashed what others might deem as trash, to create DIY memorabilia later. I've always seen the world in a different way than it seemed my peers did. And I've come to recognize this as a gift of mine; to be able to see shapes and colors and contours in the simplest of landscapes and ordinary objects.

I studied Communications and Fine Arts in the Pacific Northwest at Whitworth University where I developed many of my passions in the academic sphere. I've gone through life with a unique zeal for imagination and experience which integrates with my passion for humanity and the many demographics that have different stories within it.  I've jumped at each opportunity to foster my creativity — seeking out ways I can see Art in life's nuances and nurturing my skills in order to become a more understanding and purpose-driven professional.

Be well,

    Annika Joy

As an artist I am interested in how different mediums can communicate important narrative. It is often the backbone of representation and how individuals and companies express their values, culture, and history. I also believe that art reaches more people than those who recognize it is essential.

I'm always eager to learn new trades, applications and I am passionate about developing my personal style in order to change the way people see the world and myself.
